Fire in the Sky

This could of been a river scene from the "Mad Max" saga. The float started with a little wind and seemingly clear skies. Within minutes after the put-in the wind changed and brought with it the finest smoke from the Deer Creek and Turner Gulch fires. Myles and I decided to barge up for the rest of our float and reflect. We saw possibly 10 beavers and 1 river "kitty". More like a hardened River-Cat with not a person around that little dude slunk out of sight like the river was their home
