Trust the eddy!

This week’s Wet Dreams Wednesday float was one to remember! Bundled up in down coats and sporting NRS Expedition Weight layers, we knew we had to push hard if we wanted to finish our float before dark. As a result of running a 7:00pm shuttle and taking our time to ‘check out’ some of the mid-river cobble bars, we watched the sunset from above the Silo Wave section and finished the last hour with headlamp. The team really came together while performing a successful throw bag rescue to a canoe paddle that decided to take a lap around the takeout eddy! With a triple stack on one trailer and a double stack on another, we met back at the put-in filled with the joy of floating with friends.
