Made from 1in ID aircraft grade aluminum pipe, The Down River Captain’s Chair easily attaches to your frame by pinning into tee fittings that pivot forward, allowing easy access to gear in the bay below it. You can fully optimize the storage space in your frame by storing your cooler or dry box under the Down River Captain’s Chair. And, as a bonus, it can be removed just as easily, making it a great camp chair option. The cover is built to last using Phifertex UV resistant mesh, so you always have a dry ride. No more sitting in a puddle of water for hours! 

 

Available at Wet Dreams in 2 length options, fits bay openings of 17.5in or 19.5in. Measure the opening of the bay you intend to span with your Down River Captain’s Chair from inside one crossbar to inside of the other crossbar. The chair legs will arc inward as they rise, so consider sizing up so that the chair will still function as a flip seat over your cooler or dry box.

For example: If your cooler is 16in wide, you should consider ordering the 17.5in Captain's Chair so that the chair legs are sure to clear the corner of the cooler. If your cooler is 18in wide, you should consider ordering the 19.5in Captain's Chair.
