Captains Chair Replacement Cover

The Down River Captain's Chair is built to last. Over the years, if your Down River Captain's Chair Cover needs replacing, congratulations! You've been getting out on the river a lot, we're jealous! Down River Captain's Chair Replacement Covers include 10' of bungee to use when installing the cover onto the chair frame.

Fit: We've made three versions of the captain's chair since the late 80's. You will need to measure your chair frame pipe diameter and overall chair width to verify which version you have.

• If you have a 1-7/8in outside diameter chair frame pipe and the overall width of your chair frame is 21in, you have a captain's chair from the 2000-2024 era and should order the wide chair cover.
• If yours has 1-7/8in pipe diameter and is 19-1/2in wide, you have the original captain's chair and should order the narrow chair cover. 
• In 2025 we updated the chair to make it lighter. If your chair frame pipe is 1-1/4in outside diameter, you have the latest captain's chair and should order the 1in chair cover.
• If you have something other than what is listed above you may have a knockoff captain's chair from a different company.
