Dry box rivet snaps can only be installed on "Bread Box" style lids and not "Shoe Box"! Bread Box style boxes have a lid that is the same size as the top of the box body. Shoe Box style lids overhang the body of the box and do not allow clearance for the back side of a pop rivet. The lids are larger than the top dimensions of the box. Please let us know the exact dimensions of the lid if it is a "Shoe Box" lid!
